The annual B B Q !!

Last Sunday saw the second B B Q rock school bash take place.
Kicking off at 1.00pm in glorious Gunnislake sunshine, around 60- 70 friends and supporters witnessed the fruits of our labours as a rock school.Aside from the Adult Rock school, the teenage rock school entertained with a great set and some lovely solo/duo/trio performances from Jenny, Lucy, Josh and Daniel.Even young Annabelle gave us a tune - surely one for the future to watch!!
As i get the hang of this blogging lark i will upload photos and clips for you all , but in the meantime a note of thanks to Ann and Mark for the hard work and venue and to the supportive crowd.
We also managed to raise over £50 pounds for a local cancer charity so many thanks to one and all xx

History and way forward

For those that don't already know - A very clever young an by the name of Adam Herring asked me to help run a kids rock school some two years ago.From there an adult rock school developed from the parents of the kids who never had the opportunity when they were young.In six months we took 7 or 8 people who had never played before and put them in front of a paying audience of 150 people!!!
The kids rock school continued to flourish and several live performances by both schools later we are now looking to expand the venture.
New members and venues are welcome and all thoughts and ideas are most welcome.
We have proved this model works and now want to involve as many people as possible in the wonderfully creative process of forming and performing live music!!!
